Driver Hire Leeds West are currently working with our well-known client to recruit a number of minibus drivers to join their team on a on-going basis to aid them in the transportation of a variety of clients, including those with special needs, the elderly and those in adult social care.
Our client operates a busy frontline service that is frequently challenging and reactive due to the complexity associated with delivering special educational needs (SEN) transport and transport for Adult Social care to around 4000 customers daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport clients to and from various destinations, including day centres, hospitals, and homes.
- Assist clients with boarding and disembarking from vehicles.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during transport.
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license – including the D1 entitlement.
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A MIDAS certificate.
- A valid DBS check, or the ability to pass a DBS check.
- Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude.
