Role Overview
We are recruiting a qualified HGV Class 2 Waste Tanker Driver to operate across the South West, servicing a range of sites including festivals, construction zones, private properties, and temporary facilities. The vehicle is equipped with a vacuum pump for the extraction of non-hazardous liquid waste from effluent tanks. This position does not involve handling chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a HGV Class 2 vacuum tanker in accordance with road safety and transport regulations
- Pump and remove liquid waste from effluent tanks at designated sites
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain operational readiness
- Ensure safe driving and adherence to route schedules
- Occasional jet-washing of units may be required
Candidate Requirements:
- In-date HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C licence
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Awareness of health and safety standards

- Working Monday-Friday
- 07:00 am start
- Based in Exeter and driving across the South West
- Pay rate is £15.00 PAYE per hour on PAYE Accrued, plus £1.81 per hour holiday pay equates to £16.81 PAYE per hour on PAYE Advanced
