Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) for regular, flexible work with well-established local businesses across Dorset and South Wiltshire. We also have a number of HGV Temp-Perm opportunities if you’re looking for something ongoing.

Pay Rates

Days: £16.81 – £17.93 per hour

Nights & Saturdays: £18.77 – £20.17 per hour

Sundays & Bank Holidays: £20.73 – £21.29 per hour

All rates include PAYE Advanced Holiday Pay.

The Work

Assignments vary depending on your licence and experience and may include:

• Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (C) or 7.5 Tonne (C1) driving
• Trunking and multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading where required
• Providing excellent customer service

No two days are the same, giving you plenty of variety while keeping your work local.

What You’ll Need

✔ Valid UK HGV Licence (Class 1 C+E, Class 2 C or C1)

✔ Driver CPC

✔ Digital Tachograph Card

✔ At least 12 months’ HGV driving experience (recent or previous)

✔ Own transport to travel to and from assignments

✔ Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
