Driver Hire Edinburgh West – Class 2 (HGV) Drivers Wanted
Location: West Lothian
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time (Full-time hours may occasionally be available but cannot be guaranteed)
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for flexible work without committing to a full-time role? We’re seeking reliable, safety-focused professionals to support our clients with ad hoc assignments throughout West Lothian.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year of driving experience – essential

No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR, or CD endorsements)

Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
-
A flexible, professional approach
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries/collections (e.g., steel, office furniture, food & drink, construction materials and more)
-
A-to-B vehicle movements
-
General haulage or pallet network duties
-
Loading/unloading as required
-
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
