Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexible opportunity for an experienced HGV driver with our client in Andover.
*You will receive a £100 Bonus for the first 20 shifts that you complete with Driver Hire.*
Position: HGV Driver
Days: Monday-Sunday (flexible)
Start time: 07:00 AM
Start date: ASAP
Location: Andover
Pay Rate: £16.25-£17.37 (basic) – £18.21-£20.73 (nights) – £20.17-£22.97 (weekends). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.
As a HGV Driver you MUST have:
- a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience
- a valid UK HGV driving licence
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- your own transport to get to and from work
As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
