HGV Class 2 Driver – 7.5T Vehicle | Earn Full Class 2 Pay!

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting on behalf of a well-known Cash & Carry distributor, offering dependable full-time work with the potential to become permanent.
💷 Pay Rates:

PAYE (with holiday pay): £15.69/hr (basic) | £20.91/hr (overtime)

Standard PAYE: £14.00/hr (basic) | £18.66/hr (overtime)
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Carry out multi-drop deliveries to local pubs, cafés, restaurants, and shops

Operate a tail lift and assist with unloading drinks crates (some manual handling involved)

Complete local routes across Edinburgh – no overnights required

Perform daily vehicle checks and keep simple delivery records

Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop
✅ Requirements:

Full UK HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence – ideally held for 12+ months (less considered)

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards

Physically fit and comfortable with some lifting

Good local area knowledge
-
Maximum of 6 licence points (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
