🚛 Skip Driver – £15.69 per hour | 12-Week Temp-to-Perm
📍 Based in East Lothian | 🗓 Monday to Friday | 💷 Overtime £20.91/hr
Driver Hire Edinburgh City are looking for a motivated and reliable Skip Driver to join a busy waste management and recycling team in the East Lothian area.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver — but we also welcome newly qualified drivers with a positive attitude and the drive to learn.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 2 (Category C) skip lorry, collecting and delivering skips across East Lothian

Secure loads safely and ensure compliance with road safety regulations

Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately

Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Essential:

Full UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Desirable:
-
Previous skip driving or waste management experience

Local area knowledge

🕓 Shifts & Hours:

Full-time, day shifts with early starts
