Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Cash & Carry distributor, offering reliable full-time work and the potential to go permanent.
💷 Pay Rates:
With holiday pay included: £15.69/hr (basic) | £20.91/hr (overtime)
Standard PAYE: £14.00/hr (basic) | £18.66/hr (overtime)
🔧 Your Role:
-
Make multi-drop deliveries to local hospitality and retail venues (pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops)

Operate a tail lift and assist with unloading drinks crates (some manual handling required)

Complete local deliveries in and around Edinburgh – no overnights

Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete simple paperwork

Deliver excellent customer service on every drop
✅ What You’ll Need:

Full UK HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence – ideally held for 12+ months (less considered)

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards

Physically fit and customer-focused
-
Good local route knowledge
-
Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
