We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver to join a busy waste management team in the East Lothian area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers seeking steady, long-term work — and we also welcome newly qualified drivers with a great attitude and the drive to learn.

🔧 Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 2 (Category C) bin lorry safely and efficiently on scheduled routes

  • Work closely with loaders and colleagues to complete waste and recycling collections

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork

  • Follow road safety regulations and company procedures

  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with the public

✅ Requirements:

Essential:

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Desirable:

  • Previous bin lorry or waste management experience

  • Knowledge of local routes

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

🕓 Shift Details:

  • 4 on / 4 off rota

  • Early morning starts
