Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Cash & Carry distributor. This role offers steady hours, great pay, and the potential to go permanent – all while staying local.
💷 Pay Rates:

With holiday pay included: £15.69/hr (basic) | £20.91/hr (overtime)

Standard PAYE: £14.00/hr (basic) | £18.66/hr (overtime)
🔧 Role Overview:
-
Making multi-drop deliveries to local hospitality and retail outlets (pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops)

Operating a tail lift and assisting with unloading drinks crates (some manual handling)
-
Local driving routes in and around Edinburgh – no overnight stays

Completing daily vehicle checks and basic paperwork

Providing excellent customer service on every delivery
✅ What You’ll Need:

A full HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence – ideally held for 12+ months (less considered)

Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph

Good physical fitness and a helpful, professional approach

Sound knowledge of Edinburgh and surrounding areas

Maximum 6 points on your licence – no DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements
