Skip Driver – £15.69 per hour – 12 Week Temp to Perm
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Skip Driver to join a busy waste management and recycling operation in the East Lothian area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver — but we will also consider newly qualified drivers with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 2 (Category C) skip lorry, collecting and delivering skips to customers across the area

Ensure loads are secured safely and in compliance with road safety regulations

Complete all required paperwork and maintain accurate delivery/collection records
-
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly

Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
-
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Desirable:

Previous skip driving or waste industry experience

Local route knowledge

Personality & Attitude:

Safety-conscious with a professional approach

Reliable, punctual, and flexible

Good communication skills and a friendly manner

Shifts & Hours:

Full-time hours available
-
Day shifts with early starts

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be required)
- Overtime opportunities at £20.91 per hour
