🚛 HGV Class 2 Driver – Flour Deliveries | Ad-Hoc Shifts Available
📍 North Edinburgh | 🕕 6:00 AM Starts | 💪 Heavy Lifting Required

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for flour delivery work across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This is an ad-hoc role, ideal for those looking for flexible shifts with the potential for extra work on other contracts.

💰 Pay Rates:

  • With holiday pay included: £15.69/hr (basic) | £20.91/hr (overtime)

  • With holiday pay accrued separately: £14.00/hr (basic) | £18.66/hr (overtime)

🚚 Your Duties Will Include:

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle to deliver flour to bakeries and wholesale customers

  • Working alongside a driver’s mate – manual handling and heavy lifting involved

  • Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork

  • Maintaining a safe, courteous, and professional approach on the road and on-site

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence, held for at least 12 months

  • Up-to-date CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

  • A good level of physical fitness – the job involves regular lifting

  • A positive, flexible, and can-do attitude
