HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Wakefield

Start Time: 07:00 | Hours: Typically 10 hours/day
Pay Rate: £17.37 – £26.06 per hour

Key duties include:

• Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Loading/unloading materials using a HIAB (Brick Grab)
• Ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately
• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
• Complying with driving laws and safety regulations at all times

This is a hands-on role suited for someone with good communication skills and a strong safety mindset.

Requirements:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• HIAB Certificate – Brick Grab experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on licence – no DD, DR, IN convictions
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
