Full time permanent position for a HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver / Warehouse Operative required for immediate start –
📍 Location: Lisburn
🕗 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
💷 Salary: 14.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an established supplier of high-quality tiles, bathrooms, and stone products across Northern Ireland. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lorry Driver / Warehouse Operative to join the friendly and professional team at their Lisburn warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate company lorries to deliver goods to customers and suppliers.
- Ensure all deliveries are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment.
- Check goods in and out, ensuring accuracy and care in handling all products.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and maintaining stock organisation.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or defects immediately.
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and Road Transport Regulations.
Requirements
- Full, clean HGV licence (Class 2 / Category C) essential.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of manual handling.
