HGV Class 2 Driver, Moira

Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity for 3 Drivers

Our client, a long‑established and highly respected transport provider with over 50 years’ experience across Ireland and the UK, is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team based in the Moira area.

Position Details

• Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
• Type: Temporary-to-Permanent (12 weeks)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Start Time: 08:00 – finish
• £15.00 ph overtime paid after 40 hours @ £17.00 ph

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries throughout Northern Ireland
• Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
• Complete daily walk‑round checks to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
• Keep vehicles clean and well maintained (interior & exterior)
• Secure loads correctly using internal straps and any additional equipment as required

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• CPC Card (up to date)
• Tachograph Card
• 1 years driving experience is required and no more than 6 points for insurance reasons
• Good working knowledge of Northern Ireland road networks
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
