🚛 HGV Class 2 Driver
📍 Based in Holmfield | £15.00 per hour | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available
We’re currently recruiting for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy transport team delivering essential medical equipment across the UK and Ireland. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that includes regular nights out and the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
💼 Key Responsibilities:

Delivering and installing medical equipment (including hospital beds) to customers across the UK

Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy

Loading and unloading goods, ensuring everything is safely secured

Providing excellent customer service during every delivery

Tramping 2–3 nights per week – £25 night-out allowance paid per night

Driving in accordance with UK road laws and EU driver hours regulations

Handling and submitting fuel/expense receipts in line with company policy
✅ Requirements:
-
Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
-
Valid CPC card with at least 1 year remaining
-
Experience using tail lifts, ratchet straps, and manual handling equipment
-
Good knowledge of UK (and ideally Irish) geography
-
Understanding of EU driver hours and tachograph regulations
-
Professional, polite, and safety-conscious attitude
-
Physically fit – some heavy lifting involved
