Driver Hire Colchester are recruiting for a Permanent, Full time Gully Tanker driver for an immediate start.
Our client specialising in Waste and environmental services are looking for a HGV class 2 driver to join their growing team.
Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
The Role
- Temporary to permanent job role, Full time hours.
- Start time 05:00am, minimum 10hrs a day.
- Shift pattern may include weekends.
- Driving a class 2 HGV Tanker, working within the water and waste industry.
- Working as part of a team; You will work closely with an operator who assists with daily tasks.
- Day to Day tasks involve high-pressure water jetting and gully cleaning to clear in drainage systems, maintenance of highways and drainage infrastructure.
- Physically demanding role
What You’ll Need
- Full UK Category C licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- A minimum of 6 months recent Class 2 experience
- Good knowledge of driver hours and WTD regulations
- A positive attitude, and good communication
- Willing to be trained on computer systems.
- Must have own transport due to start location
What You’ll Receive:

Monday to Friday hourly pay is £15.00 per hour PAYE, (holiday will be accrued)

10hrs pay a day, Over time after 10hrs is £22.50 per hour
- Weekend pay at a higher rate.
