🚛 HGV Class 2 Drivers Required – Driver Hire Edinburgh West

💷 Rate: £14.50 per hour

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to support a range of clients across West Lothian. This role suits drivers seeking flexible, non-permanent work with the ability to choose shifts around their availability.

👌 Driver Criteria
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (essential)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR, or CD endorsements) - Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, dependable, and flexible approach
🚚 Typical Duties
- Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(including steel, office furniture, food & drink, and construction materials) - A–B vehicle movements
- General haulage and pallet network work
- Loading and unloading where required
- Daily vehicle checks and compliance with safety procedures
