🚛 HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Driver Hire Edinburgh West
📍 Location: West Lothian
💷 Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
🕒 Work Pattern: Ad hoc / Casual / Part-time
Occasional full-time hours may be available, however these are not guaranteed.
Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to support a variety of clients throughout West Lothian. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible, non-permanent work with the freedom to select shifts that suit their availability.

👌 Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
-
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Minimum of 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience (essential)

No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements) -
Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport legislation

Good communication and customer service skills

A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
🚚 Typical Duties May Include
-
Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(including steel, office furniture, food & drink, and construction materials) -
A–B vehicle movements
-
General haulage and pallet network work
-
Loading and unloading where required

Daily vehicle checks and adherence to safety standards
