HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Driver Hire Edinburgh West
📍 Location: West Lothian
💷 Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
🕒 Work Type: Ad hoc / Casual / Part-time
Occasional full-time hours may be available, though not guaranteed
Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to support a wide range of clients across West Lothian. This role is ideal for drivers seeking flexible, non-permanent work and the freedom to choose shifts that fit their schedule.

Driver Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum of 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience (essential)

No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements) -
Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport legislation

Good communication and customer service skills
-
Reliable, professional and adaptable approach to work
Typical Duties May Include:
-
Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(e.g. steel, office furniture, food & drink, construction materials) -
A-to-B vehicle movements
-
General haulage and pallet network work
-
Loading and unloading when required
-
Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
