HGV Class 2 Drivers Required – Driver Hire Edinburgh West
📍 Location: West Lothian
💷 Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
🕒 Type of Work: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time
(There may be occasional opportunities for full-time hours, however these cannot be guaranteed)
Driver Hire Edinburgh West is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers who are looking for flexible, non-permanent work. This position suits drivers who value variety and want the flexibility to select shifts that work around their availability.

Driver Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (essential)

No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements) -
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation

Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
A professional, dependable and flexible attitude
Typical Duties May Include:
-
Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(e.g. steel, office furniture, food & drink, construction materials, etc.) -
A-to-B vehicle movements
-
General haulage and pallet network work
-
Loading and unloading where required
-
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to safety standards
