Driver Hire Stockport are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our well respected client based in Buxton This will be a full time position working Tuesday- Saturday, 5am starts.
This role will consist of delivering fresh and frozen food to pubs and restaurants across the country. Full training will be provided from our client.- Please note that this is a temp to perm postion. Once 65 shifts are completed with Driver Hire Stockport, you will go full time with our client.
Duties of this HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws.
- Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
- Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding deliveries and any issues that occur.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times.
Requirements of the HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2)
- A Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
- 6 month of relevant driving experience (preferred)
- No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s)
- Must provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company at all times.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
PAY RATES:
£15.00ph– you can also have the option to have your holidays paid upfront with your hourly rate which will increase this rate.
