HGV Class 2 Driver – Food Manufacturing Distribution
Location: Northampton area
Pay: £16.81ph PAYE Adv (including holiday pay)
Start time: 01:30am onwards
Job Type: Temporary
A leading, family-owned food manufacturing and distribution business is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their dedicated transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable, role with an established industry specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily multi-drop deliveries of food products to commercial clients.
- Ensure all fresh and ambient goods are transported safely and securely.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-journey vehicle safety checks.
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery drop-off points.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tachograph records.
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Up-to-date CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (for insurance purposes).
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area and UK road networks.
- A punctual, hardworking, and professional attitude.
