Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) drivers to support a variety of clients across West Lothian. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible, non-permanent work with the freedom to choose shifts that fit their availability.

👌 Driver Criteria

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience (essential)

• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
  (No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements)

• Solid understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Professional, reliable, and flexible attitude

🚚 Typical Work May Include

• Trunking, store deliveries, and depot-to-depot runs

• General haulage and pallet network work

• A–B vehicle movements

• Trailer coupling and uncoupling

• Loading and unloading where required

• Daily vehicle checks and adherence to safety standards
