Driver Hire Darlington is seeking an experienced and reliable ADR Driver to join our team for a long‑term supply contract based in the Darlington area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified driver looking for stable, ongoing work with a respected local agency.
About the Role
- Position: ADR Driver (Class 2 or Class 1 – depending on applicant qualification)
- Location: Darlington and surrounding areas
- Type: Long‑term assignment
- Start: Immediate start available
- Hours: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends/overtime may be required)
You will be responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring all ADR regulations and company policies are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver ADR‑classified goods safely and efficiently
- Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, including ADR, tachograph and Working Time regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Cat C or C+E)
- Valid ADR Certificate (packages or tanks) – relevant classes required
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards
- Good communication skills and professional attitude
- Previous ADR driving experience preferred
