HGV 7.5T Driver

Location: Kettering
Commutable from: Wellingborough, Northampton, Corby
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00 start
Pay: £13.50 per hour (PAYE) / £15.13 per hour (PAYE Advanced)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable HGV 7.5T Driver (C1) to join our client’s team in Kettering. This is a Monday–Friday position with consistent start times and a supportive working environment.

As part of the driving team, you’ll play a key role in delivering products safely and efficiently to a range of customer sites, including building sites, customer yards, and residential addresses.

Key Responsibilities

As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering products to various customer locations using a 7.5T vehicle
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service
• Supporting warehouse and yard operations when required

Key Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience with multi‑drop deliveries
• Understanding of load safety, including effective strapping
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Knowledge of Tacho Rules and Working Time Regulations
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload
• A valid UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points)
• Up‑to‑date CPC and Driver Card

Pay Rates

• £13.50 per hour (PAYE)
• £15.13 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
