Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting long term, temporary opportunity for an experienced HGV 7.5 Tonne driver with our client in Bournemouth. For this role, you will be responsible for emptying portaloo cabins.
*You will receive a £100 Bonus for the first 20 shifts that you complete with Driver Hire.*
Position: HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver
Days: Monday – Friday
Start time: 07:00
Location: Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £14.57 (basic), £16.81 (Nights & Saturdays), £18.49 (Sunday & Bank Holiday) an hour. Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.
As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver you MUST have:
- a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience
- a valid UK HGV driving licence
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- your own transport to get to and from work
As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
