Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a number of well-established removals and relocation clients across Edinburgh.
This is an ad-hoc role, ideal for those who want flexibility, with opportunities to take on additional Class 2 work across our wider client network to boost your hours and earnings.
Our clients are professional, organised, and known for their supportive working environments. They’re looking for dependable drivers who take pride in delivering a high standard of service.
🔧 The Role

Driving a Class 2 vehicle locally, with occasional UK-wide jobs

Assisting with loading and unloading furniture and household items

Supporting customers during what can be a busy or stressful moving process

Working closely with an experienced removals team to ensure efficient operations

Handling all goods with care and professionalism
✅ What You’ll Need

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
-
Good level of physical fitness (manual handling required)

A positive, team-oriented approach

Removals experience is an advantage but not essential – training provided
💥 Pay & Benefits
Standard Rate:

£14.00 per hour (excluding holiday pay)

£15.69 per hour (including advanced holiday pay)
Overtime (after 8 hours):

£18.66 per hour (excluding holiday pay)

£20.91 per hour (including advanced holiday pay)
