Are you an experienced HIAB driver looking for steady, full-time work, dependable hours, and excellent rates of pay?
Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting a Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Driver for one of our long-standing and highly regarded clients based in Edinburgh West, carrying out deliveries throughout Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
🗓 Working Pattern
This role operates on a rotating weekly schedule:

Week 1: Monday to Friday

Week 2: Monday to Saturday
⏰ Start time: 08:00
📆 Contract: End of February 2026 through to the end of June 2026
💷 Pay Rates (Including Advanced Holiday Pay)
Monday – Friday:

£17.19 per hour – PAYE
-
£19.26 per hour – PAYE Advanced
Overtime & Saturdays:
-
£25.79 per hour – PAYE
-
£28.90 per hour – PAYE Advanced
🔧 The Role
-
Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle (Remote Grab) for multi-drop deliveries
-
Completing deliveries safely and efficiently across Edinburgh and nearby areas
-
Conducting daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork accurately
-
Delivering excellent customer service at every drop
✅ What You’ll Need
-
Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
-
Valid HIAB certification – ALLMI C5+E (essential)

AITT or RTITB certification also accepted
-
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
-
Ideally 12 months’ HIAB driving experience
-
