Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Bin Driver (Refuse Collection Driver) to join a busy operation in East Lothian. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with the potential to go permanent.
🔧 The Role

Driving a refuse collection vehicle on scheduled routes

Working as part of a team with loaders
-
Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently

Carrying out daily vehicle checks

Maintaining a high standard of health & safety
✅ Requirements

Valid UK driving licence (Category C required)

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Good knowledge of health & safety practices

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
💰 Pay & Benefits

£15.52 per hour (PAYE Basic)

£17.39 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes holiday pay)
