🚛 HGV Class 2 Driver – Ad-Hoc Shunting Work
📍 Based in Loanhead
🕗 Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts with various start times (Ad-Hoc)

We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for Shunting work, based in Loanhead. The role involves transporting furniture and home goods between local depots. Ideal for drivers seeking flexible, ad-hoc shifts with potential for ongoing work.
💰 Pay Rates:
With holiday pay included:

£15.69/hr (Basic)

£20.91/hr (Overtime)
With holiday pay accrued separately:

£14.00/hr (Basic)

£18.66/hr (Overtime)
🚚 Key Responsibilities:
-
Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle between local depots
-
Transporting furniture and home goods
-
Assisting with loading/unloading as required
-
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
-
Maintaining a professional and safe approach at all times
✅ Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence, held for at least 12 months

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Physically fit – heavy lifting involved

Flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
