🚜 Forklift/Yard Operative – East Kilbride (temp to perm)
Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Plant Hire company based in East Kilbride. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift/Yard Operative to join the team.
🕒 Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
💰 Pay & Benefits
- £12.60 per hour
- Paid weekly – every Friday
- Holiday pay accrued
- 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (RTITB certified)
- Yard duties including equipment inspection and pressure washing
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
✅ Requirements
- Valid RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Certificate
- Recent forklift and yard experience
- Must be able to drive or live locally due to location
- Ability to provide two work references
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
