Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering a temporary opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver for our client in Bournemouth. For this role, as well as Forklift driving you will also be responsible for helping out in the Warehouse picking and packing and occasionally required to do some delivery driving.
Position: Forklift Driver
Days: Monday – Friday
Start date: ASAP
Start time: 08:00-16:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
Location: Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £14.01 (daytime) – £17.48 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful candidate will have:
- previous Forklift experience
- previous warehouse, picking/packing experience
- valid UK driving licence
- own reliable transport to travel to work
- physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
Responsibilities:
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
