Mechanic / Forklift Operator

🕢 Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday
📍 Location: Dalcross
💰 Pay: £16.00 per hour (paid weekly)

Driver Hire Inverness is recruiting for a Forklift Driver / Diesel Mechanic to support a busy yard based in Dalcross.
This is an initial 5‑week assignment, with the possibility of extension or even permanent employment for the right person.

🛠 Duties Include:

• Repair and maintenance of equipment
• Pressure washing plant machinery
• General yard maintenance
• Fuelling up machines
• Supporting the team with day‑to‑day yard duties

📋 Requirements:

• Mechanical qualification / certificate
• Good understanding of diesel engine maintenance
• B2 Forklift ticket preferred – but training can be provided
• Valid car licence
• Strong work ethic and reliability
