Driver Hire Sudbury is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver to join our growing team.
We currently have a range of clients across Sudbury CO10 and Halstead CO9, who require part time, temporary cover, for sickness, holiday and busy periods. If you require flexibility this role would suit you.
Shifts aren’t guaranteed, but we have a demand for Class 1 HGV drivers.
Requirements:

Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

Must be confident with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
Job Details:
- Monday to Friday Day work

Start times: Typically between 03:00 and 08:00 AM.

Shift length: Minimum guaranteed pay of 8hrs or 10hrs per day

Pay rate: £14.50 – £19.00 per hour for day work PAYE .
