About the Role
Driver Hire Edinburgh West are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and motivated Driver & Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team in Broxburn.
This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road as well as working in a busy warehouse environment. You’ll spend most of your day delivering plumbing and heating products to local trade customers, with time in the warehouse supporting daily operations when not driving.
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving & Deliveries

Deliver customer orders safely and efficiently

Provide a professional, punctual, and customer-focused service

Load and unload deliveries, checking items before drop-off

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Warehouse Support

Receive and check incoming stock from suppliers

Pick, prepare, and dispatch customer orders

Assist with stock counts and general inventory control

Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting as required

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts

Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
What We’re Looking For

Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years

Maximum of 3 points on licence

No DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements

Minimum 1 year’s commercial driving experience

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Strong customer service and communication skills

A positive, reliable team player with good attention to detail
