Driver Hire Darlington is actively recruiting experienced Digger Drivers / Plant Operators to join our supply pool. You will work with a range of local construction, groundwork, and civil engineering clients on short‑term and ongoing assignments.
Duties may include:
- Operating 360° or 180° excavators
- Assisting with groundworks
- Supporting site teams with safe and efficient digging operations
- Carrying out daily machine checks and maintaining safety standards
Work assignments may vary day to day, depending on client requirements.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Digger/Excavator ticket
- Previous experience operating plant machinery
- Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a site team
- Own transport beneficial due to varying site locations
