Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Broxburn
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy builders’ merchant based in Broxburn, for a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe movement of stock within the warehouse and yard, supporting day-to-day operations, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
This is a temp to perm position whereby you will complete the first 12 weeks through Driver Hire, before transferring to our clients books permanently.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and move stock.

Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept tidy and organised.

Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:

Valid counterbalance forklift ticket.

Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.

Previous experience in a warehouse or builders’ merchant environment is desirable.

Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits:

Monday to Friday, standard hours with a shorter finish on Friday
