Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join a busy fuel distribution operation in Avonmouth. The role involves driving tankers to deliver wood pellets for heating to both commercial and residential customers.

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity, offering long-term job security for the right candidates.

🔸 £38,500 Salary | Weekly Pay | Overtime in Winter | Productivity & Winter Bonus 🔸

The Role:

• Drive Class 2 tanker vehicles delivering wood pellets for heating

• Deliver to a mix of commercial and residential customers

• No ADR qualification required

• Basic hours: 07:00 – 16:45, Monday to Friday (47 hours per week)

• Occasional overtime during winter months

• Rare Saturday work (only during peak demand)

• Occasional nights out required (subsidised at £40 per night)

• Complete vehicle checks and ensure paperwork is accurate

• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism

💷 Pay & Benefits:

• Annual salary of £38,500 (reviewed every January)

• Weekly PAYE pay (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)

🧰 What You’ll Need:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards

• Manual gearbox trained

• Ideally 3+ years’ HGV driving experience
