Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to operate a Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) as part of a busy and essential waste and recycling service in the Bristol area. This is a full-time role with early starts, regular hours, and a supportive team environment — ideal for experienced drivers seeking long-term job security.

🔸 Weekly Pay | Temp-to-Perm | Early Starts | 2 Weeks Paid Training Provided 🔸

The Role:

• Drive a Class 2 RCV as part of a local waste and recycling collection team

• Work alongside loaders on residential and commercial routes

• Safely operate lifting and compaction equipment

• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure all paperwork is accurate

• Follow pre-set routes with the support of your crew

• Start times vary between 04:00 and 07:00, Monday to Friday

• Maintain high safety standards and represent the service professionally

💷 Pay & Benefits:

• Weekly PAYE pay

• £16.30 – £18.26 per hour (includes holiday pay via advanced holiday payment method)

• 2 weeks of full paid training before starting full duties

• Monday to Friday working — no weekends

🧰 What You’ll Need:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards

• Recent, hands-on experience with Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs)

• RORO (Roll-on Roll-off) vehicle experience preferred

• Physically fit and willing to assist loaders when needed

• A safety-first attitude with good team communication

• Willingness to complete 2 weeks of paid training

• Available to start as soon as possible
