🚚 Class 2 HGV Driver
📍 Location: Inverness
💷 Pay: £15.84 per hour (PAYE)
🕒 Start Date: Immediate
📅 Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Driver Hire Inverness is currently recruiting a class 2 HGV Driver for ongoing work with the offer of a permanent job offered to the right person. You will be delivering chilled and ambient products to stores within the Highland area, this is a physical role and will involve hand balling. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for full time work or those looking for early work patterns to suit their lifestyle.
🔧 What’s on Offer:
- Monday to Friday
- 05:00 AM start time
- 40 – 45 hrs per week
- £15.84 ph – PAYE
- Temp to perm
- Monthly bonus available after probation period.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and timely delivery of goods
- Loading and unloading using cages or trollies
- Working with a Drivers mate daily
- Manual handling of products
- Completing delivery paperwork or using handheld devices
- Vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner
📋 Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, IN or TT codes)
- Good communication and customer service skills
