We are recruiting a Class 2 HIAB Driver with remote hook experience on behalf of our client based in Newton Abbot. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary with strong additional earning potential through on-call and overtime payments, with current drivers on target to earn £45,000 this year.

Salary
Basic salary: £35,000 per year (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week)
On-call allowance: £90 per week when on the on-call rota (1 week in every 3)
Call-out pay (Saturday): Minimum 4 hours at time and a half
Call-out pay (Sunday): Minimum 4 hours at double time
OTE: £45,000
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB crane and remote hook
- Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre-use vehicle and equipment checks
- Complying with all road transport legislation and site safety requirements
- Representing our client professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Cat C driving licence
- Current HIAB certificate with remote hook experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- No more than 6 points on licence
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
