Class 2 Hiab Driver
Temporary
£13.75 – £16.25 per hour
Portsmouth
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for HGV, LGV, Category C, Hiab drivers who will be offered regular, ongoing work, local to the PO postcode.
As a Class 2 driver you must:
- Hold a valid driver’s licence.
- Hold a valid CPC card.
- Hold a valid Tacho card.
- Hold a valid Hiab Certificate (Hook, Brick Grab or Clamshell)
- Have less than 9 points on your licence
- Have Class 2 Hiab driving experience.
- Be flexible, comfortable working alone and confident with driving a variety of vehicles.
A Class 2 driver’s responsibilities include:
- Carrying out deliveries in a professional and timely manner.
- Low-level multidrop (2 – 10 deliveries)
- Lifting moderate weight (Up to 25kg)
The successful Class 2 Driver can expect:
- Monday – Friday: £13.75 PAYE, or £16.25 Umbrella
- 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE.
- Weekly Pay
- 8-hour minimum guaranteed pay per day*
These positions are commutable from Fareham, Havant & Chichester.
