Driver Hire are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver (Category C) on behalf of our client based in Warminster.
This is a Monday to Friday role with 07:30 starts, offering consistent work and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
Delivering to agricultural and commercial sites
Completing 3 to 6 deliveries per day
The majority of deliveries will be forklifted off
Some smaller items may need to be handballed off
Driving in rural areas, so confidence on country roads is essential
Weekly PAYE
Well planned and friendly team
Pay rates:
£14.95 per hour
Overtime paid at £18.69 per hour
Enhanced OT weekend £22
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 HGV / Cat C licence
Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
Must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
Confident driving in rural locations
Good customer service and a professional attitude
