HGV Class 2 Drivers – Lancaster Area
£16.00 per hour (£16.50 after 8 hours)
Driver Hire Lancaster are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for temporary/ad-hoc positions in the Lancaster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to join a well-established logistics provider offering day shifts only—no nights or night outs required!
Key Responsibilities:

Palletline multidrop deliveries
-
Deliveries to a range of businesses within the local area

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods

Adhering to health & safety regulations

Completing relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
What we need from you:

At least 9 months of Class 2 driving experience

A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
-
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
-
No major endorsements (e.g., DD, DR, or IN endorsements)

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Good customer service skills, as you’ll be interacting with clients during deliveries

A professional and responsible attitude
