Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a variety of clients across West Lothian.

📦 Typical Duties
Depending on the assignment, you may be involved in:
- Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
- Deliveries of steel, office furniture, food & drink and construction materials
- A–B vehicle movements
- General haulage and pallet network work
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Following all transport, compliance and health & safety procedures
📋 Driver Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points, minor offences only
- No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
💷 Pay Rates
PAYE Basic: £14.50 per hour + holiday pay accrued
PAYE Advanced: £16.25 per hour
