We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to work for our carpet delivery client based in Leeds LS9.
As a Class 2 HGV delivery driver you will be required to deliver our clients carpets and flooring products to other carpet shops and remote lock ups.
On an average day you will complete around 10 drops a day. Some drops will be off loaded via a FLT or assisted by shop staff you are delivering to. With remote lock up drops you will be required to handball off the carpets yourself with the assistance of the carpet winch in the trailer. So please be aware handballing is required with the role.
You will be provided with full uniform, however you must own your own safety boots.
Full training is provided over a 2 week period with a driver trainer.
Full–time guaranteed 45 hours Monday to Friday. Overtime is available if you would like to maximise your earnings.
Start time: 6AM
New pass drivers are welcomed to apply.
Requirements:
- CAT C UK Driving licence
- Up to date CPC and Tacho
- You’ll need a good level of fitness
- Commitment to providing the best service to your customers
- Able to commute to LS9 for 6AM
Pay: £33k per annum, with a Bonus Scheme paying on average between £1K – 2K a year. Making a Salary of £35K plus overtime.
