Class 2 HGV Driver – Ongoing Work with a Prestigious Client in Southampton
Start Time: Between 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM | Days: Monday to Friday | Duration: Temp 2 Perm
Driver Hire Winchester is looking for reliable and hardworking Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Drivers to work with a well-known and respected client in the Southampton area. If you enjoy early starts, hands-on work, and being part of a professional team – this role is for you.
The Role:
You’ll play an essential part in keeping our local communities clean and safe, working as part of a team collecting refuse bags from residential routes.
Duties include:
- Driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle
- Working alongside a crew to collect bin bags
- Following a fixed route and completing collections on time
- Physical work – lifting and loading bags into the vehicle
Requirements:
To be successful, you’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence
- A valid Cat C (Class 2) HGV licence
- A valid CPC card and Digi Tacho
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- At least 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience
- Your own transport to commute to the site
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
