Driver Hire is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a plant and tool hire company. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a stable, well-established business where no two days are the same.
The Role
You’ll be delivering and collecting a wide range of plant, tools, and equipment to commercial and domestic customers, while supporting depot operations when required.
Key Duties
• Delivering and collecting plant equipment and tools
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
• Maintaining high health & safety standards
• Reporting any vehicle defects promptly
• Supporting yard and depot operations when needed
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For
✔ Valid Class 2 licence (Category C)
✔ CPC & Digital Tacho Card
✔ Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
✔ Mechanical or practical aptitude preferred
✔ Strong customer service and communication skills
✔ Flexible and reliable team player
