Driver Hire Darlington is recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 Drivers to work on a supply basis for a variety of well-established clients across Darlington and the surrounding areas.
The Role for a Class 2 Driver:
As a supply driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Assignments may vary, offering a mix of local and regional work.

Requirements for a Class 2 Driver:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Current Driver CPC qualification
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A professional and positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points (for minor offences only)
Duties Include:
- Multi-drop and palletised deliveries
- Vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Safe loading and unloading where required
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintaining compliance with transport regulations
Ideal Candidate:
You will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to different working environments. Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred.
